Great, friendlyl, quick Service. Food was very tasty. We were here Saturday at 10:30, and it wasn't busy.
Shared a great lunch with my wife today at the Broken Rocks Café & Bakery in downtown Wooster Ohio. We had a nice table up front with a outside view. My wife had the Shrimp and Polenta special which she raved about. I had a peach glazed pork chop special with red potatoes and veggies which as also delicious. The place was packed as it was prime lunch hour, plus a tour bus full of visitors was also seated. Despite this, our meal came out in a timely manner. Our server was friendly and attentive. 5 Stars!
I recently enjoyed another delightful visit to Broken Rocks, and I can't help but rave about my experiences there! This charming restaurant has quickly become my go-to spot, and I find myself returning often for the incredible atmosphere and delicious food. Every time I visit, I always order the wild mushroom pizza, and I can confidently say it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Most of the time, the talented redhead with braids is the one making it, and she never disappoints! The combination of flavors is simply perfect, with just the right amount of earthy mushrooms and a perfectly crispy crust. On top of the fantastic food, I've had the pleasure of speaking with the lovely baker a couple of times. She’s always been kind and incredibly helpful, making each visit feel even more special. The servers at Broken Rocks also deserve a special mention; they are consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. They frequently check on diners without being intrusive, ensuring that everyone has a wonderful experience. Their cheerful demeanor adds to the inviting atmosphere of the place, making it feel like a home away from home. Overall, my experiences at Broken Rocks have been nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere!
Food was really great. Jodi was very helpful and a very good waitress! We enjoyed both meals and the dessert finished it off!
Very cool atmosphere -- we didn't have time to eat there- just were getting "to-go" coffee but the woman that waited on us was so nice. While we were there we noticed they sold homemade bread and bought a loaf. Oh.my.gosh--SO good!
This is a cool old joint, and folks all around said I should try dropping in…glad I did. Service was friendly and helpful w the menu. Had a pretty light lunch, and have to say that the mussels were fantastic…complex and savory broth that had to be finished to the last drop. I would have liked a little more of the delicious, delicious and tart salad for the price point…but that’s just me. Love to see a space like this keeping on keep’n on.
We both had two different burgers both were excellent served with jojos Bread and oil were brought out before the meal very good. I had fresh squeezed lemonade the best ever. They sell fresh baked bread we had a loaf of cranberry walnut to go. Our server was very good.
